Also how big is the database?  How many rows in:  ar, ap, oe, invoice,
and acc_trans?

I ask because SQL-Ledger and hence LedgerSMB is known to have some
performance issues that we are still identifying and solving.
Furthermore, a lot more is going on in the db than just posting the
invoice.
