No FastCGI

It is apparently more than possible.  and updating the make install
caused the login screen to show the correct version, and it prompted me
to upgrade the database and I logged in and everything was quite slick!

To un-deviate the topic back to the original point; scheduling invoicing

>From the AR=>sales invoice page, I choose a customer, enter a part,
click on update, check that taxes are calculated, click on schedule, set
start date to tomorrow, set to run ever day for 20 days, click on save
schedule, top of screen says "Action: save_schedule, ID:".  Navigate to
recurring transactions=>transaction is not listed.  

I am happy to report that we have smoothed out just about all the bumps
we found, things are working pretty well.  I worked around the tax
problem by putting an end date on the existing account and creating a
new one without tax.  The only other thing that still trips us up
regularly is the inability to search by customer name (go to
AR=>reports=>transactions=>choose customer name from drop down=>no
transactions); we have to look up the customer number first and then use
that to search for their invoices.  But everything else we have done has
pretty much worked exactly as advertised.
