Re: Printing Invoices

Looks like you left out the 'lpr' command. Here's my printers section form ledgersmb.conf.

[printers]
# Available printers
Default = lpr
Laser      = lpr -P NEC
Epson      = lpr -PEpson

The Default entry simply prints to whatever printer is default on my local machine. "lpstat -a" (lists all printers) and "lpq" (shows queue status of printers -- default printer if no printer specified) may be your friends here.

Del

Cups is your friend. Once it is recognized as a system printer

Cups can see the printer no problem (the printer works in other
applications and printing from the browser). How do I get LedgerSMB to
pick up the printer? I tried adding:

[printers] Default = Xerox_Phaser_8558DP

to the ledgersmb.conf file but then apache gives me an error on restart.

Hi All,
	I just installed LedgerSMB and am liking it so far. I came
across a problem however. How do I print from the Recurring Invoice
page? The only options I see are two radio buttons: Epson and Laser
and then three buttons: Select All, Print, Remove.

How do I go about adding my regular printer (Xerox Phaser-8550)? I
found some references on Google referring to installing latex and
setting parameters inside the ledgersmb.conf file. Do I need to
proceed in this direction?

Thanks for the help!
