Hi, Erik, This sounds like a great enhancement, and something that would be a huge help in my business -- this could facilitate automatic billing of variable amounts. We already track our billable time in an external system. We have an approval process where an account manager can adjust the billed time, approving it for the customer reports and for billing. This would allow us to completely automate the billing -- once an approval has been set, we could automatically generate the invoice and send it. I was thinking of basically putting a button on our billing screen to "generate invoice". What we would need back from LSMB is the invoice #, to attach to each entry. But I was thinking, at least until this is fully tested, how do we verify that the invoice was generated correctly? Was thinking of the draft invoice functionality in 1.4 for doing this -- then we could hit a button, "generate all invoices ready for billing" and then have somebody review the drafts before adding to an email batch. Not sure I have any specific suggestions here, other than I really like your idea... Cheers, John Locke http://www.freelock.com On 02/03/2014 02:27 PM, Erik Huelsmann
