Just recall that virtualization means running 30 year old software isn't
an issue.  As long as people don't want to do silly things like
*upgrade* that system, or get patches, there shouldn't be an issue.

Accounting software is not combines:  these government things change
rules, rename taxes, and the like, and if the software can do it great.

If it can't then, some attention is needed.  Since it's open source, if
there really is a desire to keep software running for 30 years, it can
be done.

(My university wrote a Honeywell CP6 emulator rather than port it's
accounting software.)
