I would love to see a bit more about how you integrated Asterisk and Sugar?I do get the sense that Asterisk is quickly loosing ground to these new fangled PBX's from microsoft and similar simply because they appear to plug into a bunch of other applications easily - on the other hand whilst Asterisk *can* be plugged into stuff, it doesn't do so much out of the box. Most of the desktop integration tools are either expensive or half finished (ADM?)
I would very much like to have incoming calls bring up my Thunderbird address book / open Sugar on that contact / Search for the customer is LSMB and pull up their previous invoices...
You might want to consider commercialising the integration that you have done - perhaps push some of the changes upstream to stabalise interfaces, etc..
