What I did was create Perl scripts which basically automated hitting
the SL (quick changes should let me use LSMB) perl modules and let
them hit the database.  If you are using PHP, I would think the
tradeoff would be a little more complex.  I will try to get lsmb-cart
ready for release this weekend.
