Hi Mads,
We are in the process of updating the docs.
Our current requirements for Perl modules is that they run on all
platforms we wish to support. The single most limiting factor is the
availability of Windows packages (mostly .PPD's).
One thing I am considering is a tarball of packages for platforms
which we depend so that these can be downloaded from our site as well.
Such a tarball would include packages generally not available through
standard distribution channels. We will also have CPAN-type scripts
to install needed dependencies. Maybe Windows scripts to install
dependencies in PPD form would be nice too....
Anyway, thanks for the feedback and we will continue to look for
solutions to the problem.
Best Wishes,
Chris Travers

Hi,
I'm trying to test Ledger-SMB but can't. The Config::Std used in
LedgerSMB::Sysconfig in trunk gives me some problems.
I would like to find Config::Std as RPM, but I can't find any working
packages for Fedora 6... Having a Ledger-SMB rpm package which requires
something not available as rpm would not make much sense.
I haven't found the Config::Std requirement mentioned in the docs - I
guess that will be updated before 1.2?

PS: IMHO it would be nice if Ledger-SMB didn't use any non-"standard"
packages...
