Greetings folks,

I'm about to start building an XML interface to SL/LedgerSMB which
will allow me to post XML purchase orders from an online store and
from an EDI 850 -> XML translation into a SQL-Ledger/LedgerSMB sales
order. I'm not sure if I'll go the full 9 yards and use SOAP or
whether I'll simplify it a bit by simply accepting and validating an
XML document via HTTP POST.

Once this is done, I'll then start an XML invoice export for an XML->EDI 810.

Since both projects have a similar schema for the moment, there might
be SL folks who are interested in such a feature. I'll try to keep
these tools compatible with SQL-Ledger as long as I can. However as
the projects diverge, I will need help from and SQL-Ledger user to do
so. If anyone is interested in participating, please email me
directly.
