Re: Updating request of help

Hi:

Thank very much you for your help.

I don't know what is : mod_perl process...I only did this steps:

a) Add ppa to my repository (Ubuntu 16.04.1)
b) Did process Update and Upgrade (in terminal) and it update to the version 1.4.33
c) I installed it from Ubuntu repostory (with Synaptic). I can say what kid of programs installed Ubuntu for LedgerSMB (In this case mod_perl)
d) I run http://localhost/ledgersmb/setup.pl on the browser and got the problem that I comment before (My last e-mail)
e) Other day I did again the process Update and Upgrade as before (Point b) and it update to the versión 1.4.34
f) I run http://localhost/ledgersmb/setup.pl again and got the same problem already commented.

As you request, I have this link to view the apache configuration file of my Os Ubuntu:

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/58767921/apache2.conf

Then following your instructions, I run: perl -c setup.pl in terminal (in the place where LedgerSMB is), and get this message:

'setup.pl syntax OK'

I think this would be useful:

Program installed: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/58767921/Programs%20installed.tar.gz
Program outbuildings: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/58767921/outbuildings.tar.gz

I use a compress file format .tar.gz, but if necessary I would use other format.

I hope this information help,

Regards,

Jorge Rodríguez

Hi,

At first I want to excuse if my english isn't clear, but it is because it isn't my native language. I did as well as I could.

No need to appologize. Your english is definitely good enough to explain your problem!

Some days before, I request if would one help to run LedgerSMB in my Os Ubuntu 14.04-1 LTS. Now with ppa I have installed LedgerSMB 1.4.34. To remember my problem, when I run on the browser: http://localhost/ledgersmb/setup.pl, I get this message:

500 Internal Server Error:

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator at webmaster@localhost to inform them of the time this error occurred, and the actions you performed just before this error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu) Server at localhost Port 80

The server error log show this:

PHP Warning:  Module 'mysqlnd' already loaded in Unknown on line 0
[Wed Nov 09 08:50:09.803926 2016] [mpm_prefork:notice] [pid 1226] AH00163: Apache/2.4.18 (Ubuntu) mod_perl/2.0.9 Perl/v5.22.1 configured -- resuming normal operations

This indicates you're using mod_perl on the server. Are you trying to run LedgerSMB under mod_perl? Or do you run a "standard" setup? Can you send us (a link to) your Apache config so we can understand your environment better?

Ok. I'm not completely familiar with the PPA, but could you run 'perl -c setup.pl' from the directory that 'setup.pl' script is located in? What's the output when you do that?

The Access log show this:

127.0.0.1 - - [09/Nov/2016:13:57:33 -0600] "GET /ledgersmb/setup.pl HTTP/1.1" 500 799 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Ubuntu; Linux x86_64; rv:49.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/49.0"

Would someone help me please,

I'm aware this isn't much help yet, but with some back-and-forth to learn about your setup, I think we'll get there.

Regards,
