Hi Vincenzo,
Interesting that 1.3.46 is giving you problems. 1.3 is actually our "old stable" series and has effectively
reached end of life. Probably the best way to install would be from our LedgerSMB
PPA or debian
repository PLEASE NOTE: before you install the latest packages please
UNINSTALL and PURGE 1.3.46 For now, if you can purge, then add the PPA and try re-installing that would be appreciated.

We are happy to help here, or you are welcome to drop in to our Matrix/IRC support room The easiest way is to visit #ledgersmb via a web browser, this will offer you a number of clients to choose from. If you are on a computer, select Riot Web, or install Riot for one of the mobile platforms Regards David G On 28/10/16 00:20, Vincenzo Romano wrote:Hi all. I'd like to evaluate LedgerSMB on my UbuntuServer 16.04. I've installed the package "ledgersmb" with "apt install" and a number of other packages got pulled along. At the end apache wasn't even starting because the mod_rewrite wasn't enabled. I fixed this by running "sudo a2enmod rewrite". I also filed a bug because of this: https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1637240 But now when I point my browser to 127.0.1.1/ledgersmb/, it tries to download the file "login.pl" instead of having it executed into the Apache2 environment. This surely means that mod_perl isn't working, despite I can see it installed and enabled. Any hint? Thanks in advance P.S. Once it will be fixed I'll file a bug to Ubuntu and Debian in order to have it fixed for everyone. -- Vincenzo Romano - NotOrAnd.IT Information Technologies -- NON QVIETIS MARIBVS NAVTA PERITVS------------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Command Line: Reinvented for Modern Developers Did the resurgence of CLI tooling catch you by surprise?
