This is one of the most optional modules in it.

The use case would be:

"I want my invoice to include the photos taken of work done or
products shipped but only if the images are at least so big."

To be able to attach files, you have to turn this behavior on and
include the logic in your templates.  And if this is turned on, and
the module is missing you just end up missing info on image
size/resolution.
