Re: pos screen posts, but doesn't print

SWeeeeet!
Chris, you rock.  I now have printing from the POS module, and the cash drawer opens.  The open till button doesn't work, but I am not going to worry about that for now, they can use the key if they need into it.  This is a standalone machine, and it prints fast enough using the ledgersmb.conf file.
unfortunately, fixing the printing did not make the
Attempt to free unreferenced scalar: SV 0x94993e0, Perl interpreter: 0x8170008 at bin/pos.pl line 967.
error disappear.
I cannot find any adverse effects of this error except the end user may worry about it.  According to http://www.xav.com/perl/lib/Pod/perldiag.html, this doesn't look like it's too serious.  Do you have an opinion?

I seem to recall one other stupid quirk we need to fix for 1.3 (made note....):

you need to have a printer defined called 'printer'

you can do this in the pos.conf.pl or the ledgersmb.conf. The former
is preferable, but the later is acceptable too.

Best Wishes,
