menu.pl error after install

Hi folks,
 I installed ledger-smb by following the instructions in the readme file, I 
got as far as creating a dataset and adding a user, however when I login as 
that user I get the following error message in my browser window.

You are logged out! 
Login
Error!
Can't locate /menu.pl in @INC (@INC 
contains: /etc/perl /usr/local/lib/perl/5.8.8 /usr/local/share/perl/5.8.8 /usr/lib/perl5 /usr/share/perl5 /usr/lib/perl/5.8 /usr/share/perl/5.8 /usr/local/lib/site_perl .) 
at menu.pl line 118.

I am running Debian Etch on PowerPC, I tried using both Konqueror and Firefox 
browsers with the same result. Any suggestions?
