Syntax is a little different, but apart from that it's the same as jQuery's ajax calls. I shouldn't have any problems using Dojo. Any thoughts? It might be worth seeing these as separate in 1.3 and 1.4, since widgets are rewritten by Dojo in 1.4.There's the other matter of a long term strategy to consider. We've been talking to work toward a more ajaxy client which is based on services for retrieving and committing data. It's probably a good idea to choose our js library based on what we think will help us achieve that goal quickly and efficiently. John explained to me how they developed a habit of building complex dojo widgets out of simple ones. The complex widgets get composed into pages. It'd be great if the effort we're spending to create better widgets could be integrated later in the "page widgets". -- Bye, Erik. http://efficito.com -- Hosted accounting and ERP.
