There's the other matter of a long term strategy to consider. We've been talking to work toward a more ajaxy client which is based on services for retrieving and committing data. It's probably a good idea to choose our js library based on what we think will help us achieve that goal quickly and efficiently.

John explained to me how they developed a habit of building complex dojo widgets out of simple ones. The complex widgets get composed into pages. It'd be great if the effort we're spending to create better widgets could be integrated later in the "page widgets".
