Hi Chris Erik, Can you please explain how you installed pdflatex? Regards, Peter Van: Erik Huelsmann [mailto:..hidden..] Verzonden: zondag 4 januari 2015 15:02 Aan: ..hidden.. Onderwerp: Re: [Ledger-smb-users] Cannot set email to use PDF by default Hi Max, Peter, In the invoice screen, when I select the target to print to "Screen", I have the target "PDF" available when I have pdflatex installed. That's how I've been printing and mailing my PDFs from 1.3 and 1.4 since day one. Don't you have this option available? Under "attachment" in the e-mail "dialog", I have the same options available as under "Screen" in the invoice screen. Don't you? In ledgersmb.conf I have added to [printers] "PDF = lpr -PPDF". Assuming you have PDF tools installed of your linux distro you can print to PDF file in this way
In LSMB 1.2 it used to print something like <voice number>.pdf in a directory on the server where apache ran. Unfortunately since 1.3 it prints just filename _stdin_.pdf and I have not been able to figure out how to make it print the voice number or some random string. Still if that is not important to you then this is a way to generate PDF and print to file.
