I have al the LS files in a user's home directory
I usually use a directory in /opt when I do a manual install...

I've created a user account (ledgersmb) and put all the LS files in /home/ledgersmb/web.

That way - all the files are owned by the user ledgersmb and not owned by root.

Kevin

BTW - I've taken a guess and copied ledgersmb.conf.default to
ledgersmb.conf and put it into the same directory.
Yep, that should do it; verify the configuration there and then try it
again.
