Just to be clear: The application sitting on top is really secondary.
I think we need to be able to support this in the db in an
accounting-friendly way. That area's critical. It provides a
simpler, lighter weight way of integrating with something like RT,
Vtiger, SugarCRM, and the like. An application is nice because it
gives someone something out of the box. If they want to use RT or
code their own application in PHP, or whatever, the heavier elements
of integration are already done.
