Import from mysql (oscommerce data)

Hello,
I have been using oscommerce for a while now. I need to import
data; mainly from oscommerce's orders tables into AR.
My approach is to pull the data and feed into ledgersmb tables
as in follows:
1. customer
2. ar
Then, manually fix up the database.
Is it reasonable? Any catch-out I should be worried about? Has
anybody done this begore.
Appreciate any comments and suggestions.
