I've been meaning to mention it in #ledgersmb to see if you might be recruited to a similar participation in LedgerSMB. Glad to see you made it here on your own, and on behalf of paying clients.
Jeff, I am grateful you like my work though it is very simple.
I am not worried about migration etc. because I always have my customer database and can upgrade/downgrade easily (at least I hope so)I'll let those in a position to know comment on LedgerSMB-1.3 ETA (I think it's still unscheduled at this point), but you may have an easier and better supported migration path to the 1.2 series depending on what parts of the SL system your clients are utilizing.
I have already planned that and shall start building and contributing documentation to the LedgerSMB project as soon as we have something like 1.3 RC1 etc. I also know that it will be far easier for me to get my patches into LSMB instead of maintaining them on my own.And in either case, ports of your applicable parts of your documentation, add-ons and tutorials to LedgerSMB 1.2x would be welcome.
It seems, from list, that 1.3 will be quite different from 1.2. So just waiting to avoid the duplicate effort.
