Re: Problem with the Income statement

Please, can some of you regular users help me with this.

It is very simple. Just go to the income statement report and do two comparisons - for instance the year 2007 with year 2006, and then 2006 against 2005.

Does the profit change for the year 2006 when used as a comparison year?

Thanks.

Ole.

I am testing LedgerSMB 1.2.11 and have a question regarding the income
statement.

I entered some accounting data for several different years - i. e. 2004,
2005, 2006, and 2007.

When I look at the income statement it seems to be correct for the
selected year; however, when I decide to compare with a previous year the
numbers get all wrong for the comparison year.

For instance, I can get a correct income statement for the year 2004. But
when I compare the results from year 2005 with the year 2004, numbers for
the year 2004 get all wrong. The same applies for all other years as well.

I am pretty sure I have closed the each year's books correctly.

Is this a known bug or could it be something specific to my (Norwegian)
installation?

I have tested the same thing in SQL-ledger and found that it also behaved
the same way.

Any help is appreciated.

Regards,

Ole.
