Re: error posting POS Sale

Thanks for the quick reply, David.

Not sure exactly where to find the checkbox, though.  Sorry if i'm missing something simple.  Just getting started with LSMB.

i am using a default installation and have only created a single customer and a single service.  In the POS Sale screen, i have a customer selected, the "Record in" is set to 1200--Accounts Receivables, and only 1 item is specified with the cost and tax coming up correctly.  i enter the payment in the "Amount" field leaving "Memo" set to Cash, "Source" and "Credit Card Track" are left blank.  The only check box i see is "Tax Included" (unchecked) and 4 radio buttons (Screen, Printer, Epson, Laser).

i tried another transaction and noticed something i didn't mention before.  The first time i hit Print and Post nothing happens (screen reloads but no actions take place).  The second time i hit Print and Post the error i mentioned comes up and there is an entry in AR for the POS Invoice amount.

Lastly, likely an issue of not understanding accounting very well on my part, i'm not sure how to delete or reverse the AR entry, nor how to complete the transaction to get it into the Chequing Account or Petty Cash.

Thanks again for the help!

john
