Re: error adding sales transaction.



This usually happens because of some missing account type.

Usually it is an AR, Inventory, Income, or Expense account.

Please provide more information.  Are you selling a part or a service?
What does your chart of accounts look like?

BTW, it is a good thing we throw this error.  Otherwise your books may
get out of balance.

I'm failing to add a new sales transaction and I'm not sure what's
going wrong. After going to sales->add transaction, fill in all the
fiels, click post and click post a again to confirm, I receive the
following error:

Anyone any idea how I can solve this problem quickly? Please be
specific in your solution description since I'm not yet very familiar
with this program.
