Reimbursable expenses

Hello!
Is there a way to track reimbursable expenses in a manner similar to time cards? I'd like to keep track of out-of-pocket expenses for a project and then have the system automatically generate a sales order / invoice in the same manner as time cards. Is this possible in
1.1.12?
