GL Report question

Howdy folks!

I'd like to be able to run a G/L report by account number; i.e. to see 
all the activity in a particular account during a certain period of 
time.  Is it possible to do this or do I need to enter a feature 
request?  If it's not currently possible, can you give me an idea of 
which tables in the db are involved in creating a view that I can use to 
grab the necessary data?
