most components are sold. The iron bar for the horse shoes may be sold
seperately. Spare parts are sold. Coffee beans are sold. This could
complicate rather than simplify.

Although my situation is atypical, I treat these type of "components" as
expenses. OTOH, I don't track them as well as I probably should.
