So you can essentially record what your target spending or income is, etc. Then later you can run a variance report. The report basically looks at the period specified and gives you a list of budgetted amounts, actual amounts, and the difference.

Do I need an other addon to get the report working? For example I saw a reporting framework, but never tested.
