Thank you Erik,

Yes, LiberationSans-Regular also working.

At least this issue is not related to system upgrade :)

Bye,

István

Hi István,

Indeed I see the same issue, except that I didn't upgrade anything on my system other than LedgerSMB to 1.3.28. Since the new font is supposed to be a replacement for Verdana, which is a SansSerif font, I suppose the replacement font ought to be "LiberationSans-Regular".

Bye,

Erik.

 Hi,

In my system the new xedemo templates broken due to the new font, or due to that, I have the recent debian wheezy system (upgraded today, 13th of Jan.), including several *tex* related packages. I got the error below. Workaround at the end. I installed all packages named liberation before, so, I am sure, the font is ok.

Error!

I got it work in the following way:
  • Add extra line before setmainfont: \usepackage{fontspec}
  • Change Liberation to Verdana (or Impact or LiberationMono-Regular.ttf )

Here is the tex code snippet:

<?lsmb FILTER latex -?>
\documentclass{scrartcl}
\usepackage{tabularx}
\usepackage{longtable}
\usepackage{fontspec} \setmainfont[]{LiberationSerif-Regular.ttf}
\usepackage[letterpaper,top=2cm,bottom=1.5cm,left=1.1cm,right=1.5cm]{geometry}
\usepackage{graphicx}
\setlength\LTleft{0pt}
\setlength\LTright{0pt}
\begin{document}

Best regards,

István
