Strings in templates

Hi all;

One of the issues I am running into is the issue of strings in
templates where the current templates use capital letters and extra
spacing for emphasis.

I am wondering if people have a preference for fixing this?  I would
prefer to add inline stylesheets (since links might be broken when the
document is sent) for HTML and LaTeX macros and then use these to
handle the spacing.

Any objection to doing this?  It seems it would make things a lot
easier for translators.
