This is probably worth a Special notice at the top of the README.md so it's seen at the top of the page on github, as well as a note in the release notes.

1.5 branch: 1.10.9 (from 1.10.8)

master branch: 1.13.0 (from 1.12.2)

You can run

$ git submodule foreach git remote update -p

$ git submodule update

to check out the latest dojo dependency and

$ make dojo

to create the dojo _javascript_ artifacts.

Users of the release archives (tarballs) don't have to do anything and will be updated to the new versions on the next release.
