Internal server error.

After upgrading to 1.3.45 (upgrading to 1.3.46 didn't help) I get this 
error when trying to post a payment of invoice from apache error.log):

2040 is the amount to be paid.

I thought I read something about this in the list, but I cannot find 
anything.  How can I fix this?
