Hi,Technically pdf printing happens on the server, the client only gets the final pdf.
It is interesting, when you print the same sales order from different clients and you get different result.
Practically it should be the same file.
I guess, on the linuxmint you click on print (screen/pdf), save it and open from file and not open directly (server->browser->save_to_file->open_this_file instead of server->pdf_reader).
Am I right?
Cheers,
István

ThanksI am still not convinced that this is 100% the problem as the Windows client was what caused my first mail in this thread (ie it only printed one line this morning)the Windows laptop is using Chrome and the Linux machine is using the Document viewer to view the pdf. As an experiment I copied the pdf from the Linux box to the Windows box and it still showed only one item.On a Laptop Windows I have the same order comes out with all items on it.On my server machine (Linux mint) browser I get only the first line of the order in the PDF.HiWhat I am finding is: a sales order (with 7 lines/parts) that is saved, press print with setting PDF and "to screen".

Hi Bill,The LaTeX code is run on the server and sent to the client. If different clients respond to the downloads differently, maybe they have different versions of the PDF viewer installed?Regards,
Erik.

Reason I ask is that I run the print and was getting intermittent problems, now I think it is related to which client machine I am using.HiIs the LaTeX code being executed on the server or client machine?

I did not intend to question the choice of Latex or how it is now. It
is a really good choice actually. As you say it is just not easy to
get familiar with as it is now. How it is working at the moment is
not blocking anything in order to use LSMB, so it can indeed be dealt
with somewhere in the future.
It is not that. I just wouldn't want anyone to think we are happy with the code quality or maintainability of the current templates in LaTeX....
