   Yep. As root:

perl -MCPAN -e shell

when you see he cpan> prompt try

install mod_rewrite [Enter]

   I don't know the exact name for the module it's usually something like
DBD::Pg (for the postgres module). The perl coders here can give you a
precise answer if mine isn't correct.
