You could use PostgreSQL 9.1 or higher. The issue doesn't exist on those versions.

This is production. I am an admin. Using beta code is not an option. Unfortunately, I consider
1.3.36 beta code since basic reporting does not work.
Is there a 1.3 version that is usable right now? Then I can upgrade to "a good" 1.3 version later.
I can hack the SQL as another alternative but I am wary of what other issues may exist.
Or should I just return to 1.2 and wait until 1.3 is ready?
