    Decided to go ahead & try that but didn't get as far as checking the
entity table.  I tried commenting out that one constraint (just inserted
",--" the "check" part of the line) & tried the conversion again but now
come up with a different error:

ERROR:  new row for relation "person" violates check constraint
"person_last_name_check"

   Looking at that;  it's both an alphanumeric and NOT NULL
constraint...
