Can't open config file 'ledgersmb.conf' - ledgerSMB 1.3

I've built and installed ledgerSMB from subversion sources.  When I
connect to http://localhost/ledgersmb/login.pl I get the following error
from Apache:

Where should ledgersmb.conf reside.  What didn't I do?  Can I simply
copy the ledgersmb.conf.default in ledger-smb/trunk to that location?
