Yes, I started that post, I've file a bug as well but I doubt it will have any effect.It seems to me they are don't have enough developers, so I was suggested to use Funtoo; but that involved reinstalling OS :-( in addition I'm concern about support, Funtoo is not well supported by larger user base so this is my only concern.
I was looking at latest Ubuntu as well and they only have perl-5.10.0 not 5.10.1 so they are effected as well. So for now entire Gentoo community is out :-( -- Joseph
