Guys,

The previous company I was using LSMB for was eventually wound up so I haven't used LSMB for a while. I thought I had better get the latest version to set up another company and I went to get the latest version and see:

	Perl 5.8 is required and
PostgreSQL 8.1 or 8.2 (8.3 is not yet supported)

I am using Fedora 9 and that has by default:

	Perl 5.10
	PostgreSQL 8.3

When will PG 8.3 be supported?

I'm using 8.3 right now. Chris Travers helped me convert from SQL-Ledger to LSMB 1.216 last week, and a fair amount of SQL was needed to make the change over. So far there have been zero issues with 8.3 although I have to admit there are large parts of LSMB that I don't use. YMMV.

I think the embargo on LSMB/Postgresql 8.3 has more to do with lack of testing than any known issues. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong.

OK, I'll give it a go and see what happens - thanks for the response.

Regards,

Phil.
