I found that scrartcl.cls is located at:

/usr/local/teTeX/share/texmf-dist/tex/latex/koma-script/scrartcl.cls

Anyone had this problem or know of fix? I am on Ledgersmb 1.2.13

I am using Ubuntu 8.04 Devel and the following command fixed it for me.

   apt-get install textex-extra
