The LedgerSMB project released beta1 of its 1.14.0 release (which could be renamed to 2.0 later in the release cycle). This new release features a long list of cleanups and fixes a number of long standing bugs, but above all: it changes payments to be first-class transactions. (They used to be appended to existing AR and AP transactions.
