You mean the selection between two version, as shown in the attachement?

That probably misunderstands the bug report. Maybe I wasn't clear on the report.

What happens is that a tax account can be selected for ar and/or ap tax. This has an effect on the ar/ap transaction screen but no effect on the contact screen. So you can apply a tax to a customer and never have it applicable to anything on the ar side which can cause confusion or worse, thinking you are charging taxes when you aren't.

Should we make all taxes both ar/ap applicable (that is easier given the code direction in 1.4)? Or should we check in the contact screen?
