Hi Dee,

The working dir isn't where data will be stored, that actually dealt with by postgresql. 

Rather the working dir is where the copy of LedgerSMB you want to run is installed. 

This would normally be something like

    /usr/local/ledgersmb 

Or 

    /opt/ledgersmb 

But can be anything you like. It's where ever you placed your copy.

In your case it looks like it's 

    /ledgersmb

Erik (ehuelsmann), Yves, and myself  (dcg_mx) are all in different time zones and at least one of us is normally available to assist resolve issues like this quite quickly.

Not really sure what the above means.

LedgerSMB is in 2 places:

1. /home/me/Downloads/ledgersmb
2. /ledgersmb

I have created a directory /home/me/LedgerSMB_working where I would like to
hold all of my data (not the program but my data).

Tried the 3 commands again and then did the check as requested in the
installation
instructions and the error hasn't changed.

Yes, location is /ledgersmb/tools/starmasn.psgi
