Re: user postgres password



Ok
I managed to get Postgreql to start. after a few more readme's and
thanks for the tip, but alas ledgersmb still fails to start and I see
no logs being generated for Ledgersmb so I am assuming it does not
start. 
In 9.4 the Debian version of Postgresql has changed how they
name their files for version and cluster control.
>From the .pl files I looked at and the file names that are in the
Postgresql directories this holds true.
Giving the present naming structure Ledgersmb is not going to start

As of today jessie's version of Postgresql is 9.4+165 and unstable is
9.4+166

I tried the VDMk (virtual Appliance) from Sourceforge and it failed to
start in VirtualBox and I also tried in Qemu and it did not work there;
That is not surprising I have very little luck with Qemu.

So I am dead in the water here

Time to move on?
