I will file a bug report on this. If anyone else wants to take a crack at it, the problem is probably that we aren't telling LSMB it is a dae field. I.e. we need to identify the fieldname involved and then add a $request->dates('fieldname') or $request->dates_series(1, $request->{rowcount}, 'fieldname') as appropriate.
