Re: Installation problems, setup.pl "Access Denied: bad username/password" [SOLVED]



Grrr...

After posting this I continued to hammer away at trying to solve my 
install problem.  And, here what cleared it up.

This directive in the /etc/apache2/conf.d/  was malformed...

# Indicate that the HTTP Authorization data should be passed
# to the CGI scripts running from this directory
RewriteRule .* - [E=HTTP_AUTHORIZATION:%{HTTP:Authorization},L]

The culprit of this was my fumble-fingers (typing).

Once I corrected this I was able to log in and create a company data base.
