Usually for Debian would be under /etc/ or /etc/ledgersmb/

ledgersmb.conf - where should it go?
I have al the LS files in a user's home directory - and I might need to
use ledgersmb.conf.
BTW - I've taken a guess and copied ledgersmb.conf.default to
ledgersmb.conf and put it into the same directory.
