Just one note (I will add this to the book):

If an administrator resets a password it is valid for a short time
again (1 day unless you patch the code) unless the individual logs in
and changes it.  The idea is that if you are a user you call up
someone with permissions, they reset your password, you log in with
the one they give you and change it.
