Re: Ledgersmb 1.3.9 showing wrong version on login page

If I remove the entire ledgersmb directory (i.e. /usr/ledgersmb) and
then extract the new tar file recreating this directory will that
eliminate the need for future use of Make install. I want to
streamline my installation and upgrades as much as possible and for
every additional step I have that is not necessary it just adds
additional risk especially when I turn this over to another person to
manage these upgrades. Since the Upgrade document does not say to
rerun Make install and that is likely what my future person will be
following, I would like to remove the need to run Make install so not
to cause future upgrade confusion.

As a reminder, I think the Install document needs to be updated to
reflect the fact that Make install does not need to be run, and the
ramifications if it is run or not.

Steven Marshall
