Testing Scriptaculous versions?

   In the new Debian packaging for LedgerSMB 1.3.41, I'm testing a new way to have it use the 
installed Debian packages for prototype & scriptaculous javascript files instead of using the 
embedded files.  Is their any particular way of testing how well that is well that is working?  
Or is the fact that so far I'm not seeing any difference a good indication of how well it's 
working?<g>
